De vrachtwagenheffing treedt op 1 juli 2026 in werking en geldt voor alle vrachtwagens, zowel uit binnen- als buitenland. Eigenaren van vrachtwagens gaan een bedrag per gereden kilometer betalen. Door de tijdelijke korting daalt het gemiddelde tarief van &euro; 0,191 naar &euro; 0,148 per kilometer.
