Door gebreken in de dienstverlening van verschillende lidstaten lopen ondernemers het risico ten onrechte een verzuimboete opgelegd te krijgen. Met uitzondering van Finland leggen andere EU-lidstaten geen betaalverzuimboetes op. De staatssecretaris van Financi&euml;n heeft besloten dat Nederland tot 1 juni 2024 geen betaalverzuimboetes op zal leggen aan ondernemers die deelnemen aan de regeling EU btw e-Commerce. Opgelegde betaalverzuimboetes worden teruggedraaid. De Belastingdienst zal bezwaren tegen opgelegde betaalverzuimboetes gegrond verklaren. Wel legt de Belastingdienst naheffingsaanslagen op bij een betaalverzuim.<\/p>\n<p>De datum van 1 juni 2024 hangt samen met de vervanging van de huidige tijdelijke voorziening door een structurele voorziening per die datum. Binnen de tijdelijke voorziening verwerkt de Belastingdienst aangiften handmatig.
